Fundraising

To be eligible for city and area grants, many organizations require grantees to have matching funds on hand at the time the petition for a grant is submitted. With a perpetually low account balance, SPV is essentially leaving free money on the table that could be put to use in our neighborhood. We are now looking for unique and creative ways to raise the money in the kitty to make this possible. Plans are under way to create an SPV neighborhood cookbook for sale at events to generate funds to support neighborhood projects. We are asking everyone to dig in your family recipe collection and find your best. We also need a few people to help us put this all together.
