Sad news...

Bill Howie, the man in his late 80's who faithfully raked the leaves in the eastern common area on Barberry passed away Wednesday, June 25th. His wife, Mary, is still at the Buckner Retirement Home. Bill and his wife had lived on Barberry since the 1950's when he managed a couple of grocery stores along Fort Worth Avenue. The funeral was held last Wednesday in Morgan, TX. Their house was sold to an investor and is currently in the process of being painted and repaired before it will go on the market again.
